Simone owns and plays for a professional women's football team -- The New Jersey Titans. This is her seventh year playing football. She was introduced to women's football by the Philadelphia Phoenix whom she played with for four years. She was a three-sport Varsity athlete in high school and was the first athlete male/female to receive 12 Varsity letters. She played three sports in college (volleyball, basketball, and softball) at Farleigh Dickinson University. To date, she still holds the women's basketball scoring record with over 2,200 points at her college. She was also featured in the Sports Almanac for free throws made and attempted in a career/season male/female in all three divisions, as well as Kodak All American for basketball and volleyball. She was invited to the Olympics for Team Handball and was also extended an invitation to the development league for the WNBA.
Simone holds a Masters degree in Counseling and plans to open a private practice one day. She currently works in a school system and sometimes thinks of pursuing her singing career, but for now is content singing the National Anthem at the Titans home games.
Simone is mostly known for always joking, being a good listener, extremely caring, and giving. She is very content when spending time with her family and friends, for they are the most important to her.
To her family she is known for all of the things above, but the biggest one her family would add to the list would be a PROCRASTINATOR. In spite of being just that, she still manages to get it all done, BUT of course, not without the help, encouragement, and support of her family and her partner in crime, Amy. They are her driving force who have followed her in sports from 7th grade, throughout high-school and college, and now professional women's football. Her faithful fans consist of her mom, dad (who you will find always questioning the refs no matter what sport) 3 phenomenal older sisters, 5 awesome nieces, 1 beautiful "miracle sent" great niece, and 2 great nephews (one who has passed away but is always in her heart).
Last but not least, Simone has a very STRONG mother who raised all four girls on her own and she gives her much credit. Simone knows she is who she is today because of her. Her mother taught her to be the best, strive for nothing less, and to always put God first and the rest will fall into place.
